Green Production Lab targets European sustainability professionals wishing to be trained in the audiovisual sector (and perhaps becoming Sustainability Consultants in that field!) as well as producers and production assistants willing to discover how to implement green practices on set. By working together, they will set up a full sustainability plan for a concrete project close to the production stage.
Today we launched the call for applications related to the one and only workshop foreseen for 2025: GREEN PRODUCTION LAB in El Prat De Llobregat (Spain).
The programme will include up to 12 European professionals coming from the world of sustainability and 3 teams of European producer and production assistant with a project at pre-production stage, and it will unfold between:
- December 2024 | Online preparatory session for producers
- 16th and 17th January 2025 | Online preparatory session for sustainability professionals
- 28th January - 1st February 2025 | Residential workshop with everybody in Spain
- February 2025 | Online follow-up session with everybody
During the sessions, each group will be composed by 4 sustainability professionals who will work with the producer and production assistant to create a full sustainability plan for the project.
Since you may reasonably have some questions about it, we set up a Zoom Q&A presentation to clear all your doubts.
See you on Wednesday 2nd October at 11.00 am CET: click here to join!
Lastly, you can read more about the initiative in the just-released Screen International article.
The call for applications will be available until the 5th November 2024.
Green Production Lab is organised by TorinoFilmLab - Museo Nazionale del Cinema with the support of Creative Europe – MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union. Green Production Lab 2025 is realised with the pedagogical collaboration of ApostLab for the post-production session.
