On the 12th year since its introduction, TFL Audience Design Fund – initiative organised with the support of Creative Europe - MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union – presents the 2026 selection. This year 2 international co-productions in post-production stage will receive a € 45,000 grant each, benefiting also from a mandatory Audience Design Consultancy – structured in a series of online sessions with experts and TFL Audience Designers – that will guide the film team in the creation of a tailored strategy for the implementation of innovative audience engagement and outreach actions.
The Audience Design Fund’s advisors Valeria Richter (Denmark) and Nicolò Gallio (Italy) will be joined by four experienced Audience Designers: sociologist and cultural manager Isona Admetlla Font (Spain/Germany), the Director of The Audience Design Lab for the International Screen Institute Síle Culley (Ireland), the screenwriter and script consultant Kirsten Loose (Germany) and the assistant professor in film studies and creative media industries at the University of Copenhagen Petar Mitric (Serbia). The winning films will also have the opportunity to exchange with Gabor Greiner (Hungary/Germany) providing guidance on sales and distribution; Mirjam Wiekenkamp (Netherlands) founder of the PR agency NOISE Film & TV; and two representatives from The Film Agency (Spain): Eduardo Granda and Beatriz Vaquerizo, for a consultancy on digital marketing. Moreover, two guest speakers will join the workshop for a module dedicated to AI: world leading film and entertainment business specialist, and executive producer Angus Hugh Finney (United Kingdom) and Mateusz Miroslaw Lis (Italy), engineer specialized in audiovisual technologies with experience in developing advanced artificial intelligence solutions for the film industries.
