TFL MEETING EVENT

TFL Meeting Event 18th Edition: we are almost there

The countdown begins already in September, or perhaps - to be truthful - it starts the moment the previous edition ends. And that's how, year after year, we've reached the 18th anniversary of our co-production market.

The upcoming TFL Meeting Event will kick off on Thursday, 20th November. Through pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings, and much more, it will lead us in a sort of climax to the evening of Saturday, the 22nd, for the Awards Ceremony.

Who will be the main characters of this edition? We are featuring 16 early developed projects that joined ScriptLab, 10 advanced ones grown within FeatureLab, 4 comedy scripts enhanced during this second edition of ComedyLab, 9 original TV series projects coming from SeriesLab, and one title awarded this year with the TFL Co-Production Fund. In addition, we have 5 comedy writers/performers who worked within ComedyLab and 7 Story Editor trainees who collaborated with the ScriptLab and SeriesLab projects.

But there is more! For the very first time, we will also host the 8 projects from TFL Italia – Boost IT Lab, Italian and international teams focused on boosting their co-production potential.

We are sure you want to know more about the stories, the participants you’ll see on stage. For this reason, we are happy and proud to have our TFL Catalogue available online for free download! There’s also a big update for this year: you can now find an accessible version of the catalogue, designed to enhance readability and ease of consultation.

TFL Awards, Green Awards, Partners’ Awards. These prizes - detailed in each linked page -  cover a wide range of support, from production grants to the promotion of a more sustainable way of writing and making cinema. Naturally, the Meeting Event couldn’t happen without the contributions from the partners that collaborate with us. To assign some of the awards, we are pleased to present the 5 juries for this edition.
