Samuel Perriard (b. 1983) is a screenwriter and director based in Zurich. After studying at ZHdK and DFFB, he made several short films. His debut feature, Black Panther (2013), premiered in Munich and Chicago. He later directed 8 Days in August (2021) and worked on the series Wilder and Davos 1917. His short Queen (2023) premiered at the Max Ophüls Prize. Julia Jentsch and Felix Kammerer star in his next feature film, Lupus (World Sales: Match Factory).
