Samuel Perriard (b. 1983) is a screenwriter and director based in Zurich. During his studies at ZHdK and DFFB, he made several short films. His debut feature, Black Panther (2013), premiered in Munich and Chicago. He later directed 8 Days in August (2021) and worked as a co-director on the TV-series Wilder III (2020) and Davos 1917 (2022). His short Queen (2023) premiered at the Max Ophüls Prize. Julia Jentsch and Felix Kammerer will star in his next feature film, Lupus (World Sales: Match Factory / Production Company: C-Films AG). He's also writing and directing a feature film about one of the largest ponzi schemes in Switzerland (Production Company: Zodiac Pictures AG)
