Sophie Cabon obtained a Master of Arts in Cognitive Science and Communication at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012, and completed a Master in Audiovisual Law and Business at l’INA (the French Audiovisual Institute) and La Sorbonne in 2015.
She began her career at the Seattle International Film Festival as a programming assistant and later became a programmer at the festival. In January 2015, she started working at Coproduction Office, the production and sales company of daring and engaging directors that include Ruben Östlund (Palme d’Or 2017), Roy Andersson (Golden Lion 2014), Jessica Hauser and Ulrich Seidl.
Sophie began at Coproduction Office as a production assistant, and later held the role of sales coordinator. Since 2016, she has been the Head of Sales, and represented award-winning films such as THE SQUARE by Ruben Östlund and SAFARI by Ulrich Seidl.
