Sina Ataeian Dena is a Persian interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker in exile. His films and artworks have been showcased in prestigious international festivals and museums. Currently, he lectures at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Sina (as Writer, Director and Producer) was nominated for the Golden Leopard for his debut film Paradise 2015 and won two awards in the main competition of Locarno film festival. As a dramaturgical advisor and producer Critical Zone 2023 won the Golden Leopard. And as dramaturgical advisor and associate producer Seven Winters in Tehran 2023 won the best film in Berlinale Compass-Perspektive Award and Lola award for Best Documentary.
