Ondřej Novák is a director, a screenwriter and a producer (born in 1982) living in Prague, Czech Republic. He has shot several short documentaries and video clips. He is also a founder of Uncanny Club where he focuses on writing comics, animation and games. His first short movie Reconstruction is based on a real case where two young boys brutally tortured the homeless. Film has been premiered in competition section of Locarno film festival and was nominated for the EFA European Film Awards. Novák has just finished his second short film Debt and is working on a script for this feature debut Recognition.
