Bert Van Dael’s award-winning series The Twelve was described by Ricky Gervais as “one of the most complex, nuanced and gripping courtroom dramas I've ever seen”. In 2016, Van Dael was the creator of Series Mania’s audience award winner, Hotel Beau Séjour. In 2020, Van Dael co-founded Wilder Content with internationally acclaimed director Tim Mielants (Peaky Blinders) and producer Gitte Nuyens. They co-produced 'Small Things Like These', starring Cillian Murphy, which opened the Berlinale film festival in 2024.
