Biography

Victoria Fiore is an Italian film director working with creative documentaries. Her debut feature NASCONDINO is having its international premiere in competition at CPH:Dox 2022. Victoria’s short films, FIRE GAMES OF NAPOLI, SOUNDS OF TEHRAN and MY DEADLY BEAUTIFUL CITY, have screened internationally at Oscar-qualifying film festivals, including AFI Fest, Raindance and Uppsala as well as online on VICE, New York Times Op-Docs, NOWNESS and more. She is an alumna of Berlinale Talents, IDFA Academy, Film Independent and BFI BAFTA Crew and has received generous support from the BFI Doc Society, Sundance Co//ab and Regione Campania among others. Victoria is currently in development with her first fiction screenplay, AIDA. A graduate in Hispanic and Russian Language and Literature from UCL London, she has an MA in Documentary Film from ESCAC University of Barcelona as well as training in Techniques and Tools for Cinema Workshops for Youth and Adolescents from the EICTV, Cuba as well as a current residency at the Centre of Theatre of the Oppressed in Rio de Janeiro. Besides this, she also offers documentary film training and mentorship for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in Naples, Rio de Janeiro and London.
