Biography
Tom Baetens began his career at production company Shelter, where he helped to create internationally successful comedy shows such as Benidorm Bastards, What If? and the sitcom Safety First. Those first two shows won a Rose d’Or and an International Emmy Award. In 2014, together with Kato Maes, Tom Lenaerts and Bart Cannaerts, he co-founded Panenka, creating successes like Keep Calm, Switch and the world-conquering Taboo. In 2019, he developed the screenplay for the drama series De Kist.
