Maurício Macêdo is a producer from the northeast of Brazil. He has worked on productions by directors Karim Aïnouz, Marcelo Gomes, Rosemberg Cariry, Ivo Lopes Araújo, Petrus Cariry, Leonardo Mouramateus, among others. He is a member of the Paradiso Talent Network. Between 2010 and 2016 he worked at festivals such as Cine Ceará and For Rainbow. He was a producer at the Film Laboratory of the Porto Iracema das Artes School and the project development hub of Inflamável, by Karim Aïnouz. He was production manager of the series Cangaceiro do Futuro (Netflix) and Lana & Carol (TV Brasil/EBC), the feature films Welcome to Quixeramobim (2022), by Halder Gomes, Cabeça de Nêgo (2021), by Deo Cardoso and "Se Arrependimento Matasse (2019), by Lilian Moema. He produced the feature films Greta (Panorama Berlin 2019) and Fortaleza Hotel (2022), by Armando Praça and the series Meninas do Benfica (Canal Brasil 2022), by Roberta Marques and Luciana Vieira. In 2022 he runs six projects as a producer, in different stages of production, including the animation Glória e Liberdade, by Letícia Simões and the feature Amores Paraguayos, by Janaína Marques.
