Bastiaan Kroeger, born in 1978, is a psychologist turned scriptwriter. His first film, C’est Déja L’été (2010), premiered at IFFR`s Tiger Competition and received a Special Jury Mention. He contributed to acclaimed series like Penoza, Godforsaken and Icarus. His short film, Nothing to Declare (2018), represented the Netherlands at the Oscars. His second feature Pink Moon (2022), developed in Berlinale Script Station and funded with Eurimages, had its world premiere at Tribeca, where it received a Special Jury Mention. Bastiaan crafts compelling characters with a realistic and profound psychology, delivering urgent and impactful stories.
