Emma-Rose Thompson



Emma-Rose Thompson is a director, screenwriter and actress. She graduated from Script Academy in 2022 with a provoking and urgent drama about power abuse titled ‘2 Minutes’ . In 2023 she made her debut as a writer, director and actress in the short film LifeLine (selected for Love & Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona). Currently she is working as a staff writer in two writers’ rooms: under Oscar van Woensel (Mocro Maffia, Follow the Soa, Penoza) developing a crime series, and under Paula van der Oest (The Forgotten Battle, Lucia de B., Zus&Zo) developing a drama series, both commissioned by Netflix. She also works as a Junior Creative Producer at Sunny Pictures where she helps (further) develop pitches and screenplays in various stages of development
