Thomas is an artist and filmmaker born 1984. His works have been shown in venues ranging from the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig to CCP Melbourne. He received awards like the Leipzig Exhibition Prize and the Marion Ermer Prize, as well as grants such as a residency at ISCP New York, the State Scholarship for Fine Arts, and BKM script funding. His works are held in the Saxonian State Art Collection and Thomas has published “The Whirr of the Image Machine” with Spector Books. ALMANSTADT is Thomas' first work for cinema.
