Nicolò Folin is an Italian filmmaker whose artistic research in shaped by on ongoing dialogue with history, using the past to examine the present. After first stepping onto a film set as an actor at the age of fifteen, he went on to explore writing and directing. In 2021 he was admitted to the National Film School in Rome, and his work has been selected by numerous festivals worldwide, including the Cannes Film Festival, the Venice Film Festival and the David di Donatello Awards. Now, he continues to pursue his interest in human stories, however distant in time or space.
