Jacob writes screenplays. He works in German and English.
His heart beats for serialized storytelling, though he does have occasional love-affairs with other sorts of screenwriting.
He prefers to collaborate on projects and usually hates his little office - unless the story is broken down and it’s ‚just‘ about writing the script. Then loneliness is key.
Jacob also finds himself teaching (Series Mania Institute, Vienna Film College) and directing (ficition, documentary & commercial)
Back in the days, Jacob himself was educated in Denmark (European Film College) and the USA (University of southern California, New York Film Academy). He also worked for Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ORF.
He currently serves on the boards of the European Screenwriters Association FSE and the Austrian Screenwriters Association.
Jacobs greatest accomplishments are two energetic children.
