Arjun Talwar grew up in Delhi. He graduated from the cinematography department of the Polish National Film School in Lodz, where he was mentored by renowned cinematographer Witold Sobociński and documentarian Jacek Bławut. His student films were selected for festivals such as Visions du Réel, FID Marseille and Tampere. In 2018, his first feature documentary «A DONKEY CALLED GERONIMO» premiered at DOK Leipzig. The recent «LETTERS FROM WOLF STREET» (2025) portrays Arjun’s experiences as an immigrant in Poland. It premiered in the Panorama section of Berlinale, screened at IDFA, CPH:DOX, Fipadoc, Cairo, and RIDM, and won numerous awards. Arjun enjoys weaving together documentary approaches with fiction, dramatic themes with absurdist humour. «KING OF VEGETABLES» is his fiction debut.
