Andrea Ferran is a director, producer and script editor working in Ireland and the UK. Her work focuses on character-driven drama, musicals and genre narratives, with a passion for female-led and eco-conscious storytelling.
Andrea’s debut short film PIKE was funded by NI Screen and selected at 20+ IFTA, BAFTA and Academy Award-qualifying festivals. Her debut feature is in development with Screen Ireland. She is selected for the 2026 Warner Bros Directing Program.
Andrea directed theatre for a decade at leading institutions, including the National Theatre and Royal Court. As script consultant, she has developed original television and feature projects with BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix, among others.
