André Pereira is a Brazilian writer-producer of original feature films, including “Mato sem Cachorro”, a romantic comedy that was a local box-office hit and was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Brazilian Academy Awards; the horror film “The Trace We Leave Behind”; the dramedy “Primetime Villain”, which premiered at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival and was nominated for the Brazilian Writer's Guild awards; and the horror film “A Mother’s Embrace”, which premiered at Sitges Film Festival and Beyond Fest. In recent years, André has had projects selected and awarded at 15 international markets, including Annecy, Sitges, BIFAN, and Ventana Sur.
