Emanuela Barbano is based in Torino, Italy. Graduated in Economics and Business with a degree in Marketing, in 2000 she started a twelve-year long career in the advertising industry, covering different positions. She managed and coordinated national and international multimedia communication campaigns for many clients in several different fields, working for primary international advertising companies. In 2012, her career took a different turn, expanding into the movie production, where she started working as a creative producer. Since then, she has been a partner of Duel: FIlm (www.duelfilm.com), a Turin based young, independent production company. She produced some short film and is currently developing two feature documentaries and two feature films. In 2013 she attended the Maia training programme for emerging producers and in 2014 she attended Torino FIlm Lab in the Audience Design program.
