Since his first internship as an assistant director on Les Misérables by Claude Lelouch, Alexandre Charlet has worked as Assistant director, Unit manager and Production manager on several Features, TV Films and Commercials. In 1999, Alexandre founded Les Films du Cygne and produced more than 40 shorts films, including The Winkles by Alice Vial (Best Short Film César 2018), a docu-drama feature film, Z’har by Fatma Zohra Zamoum and a first animated feature film, in stop-motion, Even Mice Belong in Heaven by Denisa Grimmová & Jan Bubeníček (nominated at the European Film Awards 2021). Several projects are currently in development, including the fiction features L’Ecrivain de la Famille by J.Cornuau, Précoce by A.Vial, Vers le Bleu by S.Garric and the TV series Alpha (with Storia TV) and Extra (for OCS Signature). He is looking for new international projects. Besides delegate production, Alexandre created Swan France, a structure more dedicated to Commissionned projects, TV commercials and international production services, welcoming on european and french territories foreign shoots such as brazilian novelas produced by TV Globo and russian feature films. In 2014, Alexandre became part of a new production company, Day For Night, co-fonded with Jan Vasak and Virginie Sauveur and, in 2019, he co-founded Le Studio Animation in Marseille with Ron Dyens and Alexandre Cornu. Alexandre is elected at the animation office of the SPI (Independent Producer Union), President of the Producers’ College at SudAnim and Co-president of Aura in Motion.
