After different jobs in the film and TV business, Eike Goreczka co-wrote the script HONEY BABY for Mika Kaurismäki. In 2004 he became Assistent Producer for Schmitz Katze Filmkollektiv.
Since 2005 he worked for 42film. He produced documentaries and feature films amongst others, SWINKI directed by Robert Glinksi, ZERO directed by Gyula Nemes and CORN ISLAND directed by George Ovashvili, winner of the Crystal Globe at the International Filmfestival Karlovy Vary 2014 and shortlisted for the Oscars 2015 in the Foreign Language Section. In 2015 the international co-production and TFL project FAMILY FILM premiered at International Film Festival in San Sebastian. His follow up feature film with Georgian director George Ovashvili KHIBULA, a Georgian-German-French co-production, is currently in post-production. He currently co-produces the feature film projects NANOOK, directed by Milko Lazarov, LEMONADE, directed by Ioana Uricaru and the 2015 TFL project DAOUD'S WINTER, directed by Koutaiba Al Janabi.
