Biography

Since 2009, Jessica Landt is one of the two producing partners at Beleza Film. They produce fiction and documentary features for the international market as creative producers, financing producers and also partially as executive producers for other companies. Jessica Landt finished her master’s degree in Bochum (Film and Television studies) as well as studied in Ludwigsburg and Paris (French-German Masterclass, now Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris), she has been an active alumni member since. She has experience in production management and coordination for German and international film projects and coproductions (like Béla Tarrs “The Man from London”, Cyril Gelblats “Les Murs Porteurs” or Lisandro Alonsos “Liverpool”, as well as working for Busse & Halberschmidt Film, Black Forest Films, Nikovantastic Film, scoop films, Oval Film.) She worked for the Filmfest Hamburg and KinderFilmfest Hamburg and was the project coordinator for the 6th edition of the French-German Rendez-Vous in 2008. In 2010 as well as in 2011 Jessica Landt curated a panel about transmedia and crowdfunding within the course of the French-German Filmmeeting. Jessica Landt has been a jury member for the preselection committee of the Studio Hamburg Nachwuchspreis between 2012 and 2017 and was part of EAVE Producer’s Program 2014, Interchange Torino FIlmlab 2013. Jessica organized and conceptualized the Studio Hamburg Talent Award (Nachwuchspreis) in 2018 and the German Short Film Award in 2019. Jessica Landt has been part of the reading committees of TorinoFilmLab (2019, 2020, 2021) and Biennale College Cinema (2020)
