Alesia Weston is a creative and strategic advisor to international filmmakers and a consultant for festivals, filmmaker training programs and arts insitutions.
For almost a decade, she oversaw Sundance Institute’s year-round International Feature Film Program and shepherded films from over 40 countries through the program. She spearheaded the Sundance Screenwriters labs in the Middle East, India, Israel and Turkey and managed the Sundance/ NHK Int'l Filmmakers Award among others.
She was Executive Director of the Jerusalem Film Festival and Cinematheque for 2012 and 2013 and then International Programmer and Special Advisor to the Beirut Film Festival in 2014.
