TFL Meeting Event 2024

Step into the TorinoFilmLab co-production audiovisual market to meet the cutting-edge creations from its 2024 classes.

Since 2008, the TFL Meeting Event reaches the culmination of the year by presenting projects developed within TFL's annual programmes to a diverse audience of film industry experts. As tradition dictates, Turin will be the stage for the 16 in essence feature film scripts developed by ScriptLab 2024, the 10 advanced feature film projects flourished within the current class of FeatureLab and the 2 international co-productions supported by the TFL Co-Production Fund.

The major highlight of the 17th edition, happening between 21st and 23rd November 2024, is the inclusion of 9 original TV series projects from SeriesLab, ready to captivate the market, and 4 comedy scripts tailored for a global audience developed by ComedyLab, the latest training initiative by TFL.

Among the attendees invited to be engaged and to become a part of a new era in cinematic and serial storytelling, a curated selection of international professionals including producers, distributors, sales agents, buyers, funds, and festival representatives, all converging for face-to-face interactions with our participants.

Here, they can discover high-quality international projects, forge valuable business connections, and explore fresh horizons for collaboration: a perfect environment for networking and purposeful matchmaking. Alongside customised meetings and a programme designed for every category of market guests, the TFL Meeting Event also allows moments for informal gatherings.

Moreover, for those especially interested in opening cooperation with Italy, on 21st November the special section TFL Italia will present 8 projects experimenting with international co-production, in the frame of TFI Torino Film Industry.

On top of that, international jurors and partners will give a further boost to several projects by awarding different prizes contributing to the realisation of the projects.

- The PRODUCTION AWARDS: partially financed by Creative Europe - MEDIA Subprogramme of the European Union going to FeatureLab projects.

- The GREEN AWARDS: established to promote a more sustainable way of writing and making cinema. The Green Filming Awards will be assigned to the FeatureLab projects, the White Mirror will be given to a ScriptLab project.

- The SERIESLAB DEVELOPMENT AWARD: grant of 10,000 € to one TV series project, assigned by an international and prestigious Jury.

- The PARTNERS' AWARDS: from Eurimages to CNC, from ARRI to IEFTA: numerous prestigious audiovisual institutions support the further development of the projects.

The Awards Ceremony will be held in the evening of Saturday 23rd November.
