Every year TorinoFilmLab gives a spotlight to a new wave of independent cinema during the TFL Meeting Event: a showcase of projects, talents and films developed in the frame of TorinoFilmLab annual programmes, featuring a global co-production forum for independent original or adapted feature films and a presentation of the professionals trained within the scheme.
The 2021 edition of the TFL Meeting Event will unfold both onsite and online: from 29th November until 1st December in Turin (Italy), while, between 6th and 10th December there will be a dedicated online programme.
The TFL annual programmes come to an end at our international co-production market and will showcase:
- 10 feature film projects already at an advanced stage developed by 22 professionals in creative teams within FeatureLab 2021
- 20 feature film projects presented by 23 participants that have gone through the development of the script in the frame of ScriptLab 2021, working side by side with 5 story editor trainees.
Plus, the TFL Coming Soon selection will feature a bunch of TFLFilms almost ready to debut in the most prestigious film festivals.
The participants will pitch their projects to an audience of specially invited international producers, sales agents, festival representatives and other film industry professionals, interested in collaborating with them.
The TFL Meeting Event is also a moment to reward the best projects with the TFL Production Awards, the special Green Awards (White Mirror and Green Filming) and collateral prizes backing the further development, production and post-production.
