The section, providing the international film community with a glimpse into the promising films incubated within TFL’s labs, will be hosted for the third year in a row by European Work in Progress, in Cologne.

The TFL project going to Cologne this year is SLEEPLESS CITY the first fictional long- feature of Spanish filmmaker Guillermo Garcia Lopez, developed in the ScriptLab 2020.

EWIP TFL Audience Design Award

Together with the TorinoFilmLab, EWIP awards the "EWIP TFL Audience Design Award". It provides for a consultation with TFL experts aimed at analysing the film from a marketing perspective and developing creative ideas for the international sale and distribution of the film.

Awarded project in 2024: MINIMALS IN A TITANIC WORLD by Mbabazi Sharangabo Philbert Aimé (Rwanda, Germany, Cameroon).

Jury statement: This project struck us with its vivid sense of place and time, mood of sombre beauty & sense of a social harmony generated by shared grief.
