Hello. My name is Alfonso Papa. I'm based in Torino, Italy. At university I studied Philosophy and Film. My greatest passions are cinema, literature, comics and storytelling. I attended the two-year master in Techniques of storytelling at the Holden School in Turin, an annual course in screenwriting at the School of Comics in Milan and a one-year course at the School of Journalism and Public Relations Carlo Chiavazza in Turin. I collaborated with the Publishing House Giulio Einaudi as a reader and I worked on some movie sets, including "Radiofreccia" by Luciano Ligabue and "Un amore" by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli. From 1999 to 2007, I worked as General Secretary Assistant at Turin Film Festival. I currently work for the Film Commission Torino Piemonte as general secretary of Piemonte Doc Film Fund and Short Film Fund, I'm also a member of the Short Film Fund evaluation Committe and consultant for new media, crossmedia projects e gaming. I am a critic, too: I write for Bckstage Press Magazine.
