Kirsten Loose is a screenwriter and script consultant experienced in film- and seriesmaking for mainstream and niche audiences.
As dramaturge and creative producer Kirsten supervised more than 600 episodes of the weekly drama Lindenstrasse, a German TV classic. Since 2017 Kirsten has worked in various writers’ rooms and written episodes for primetime TV and streaming series such as Unsere wunderbaren Jahre (ARD), Doktor Ballouz (ZDF), Habibi Baba Boom (Disney+) and Feelings (ZDF/funk). Most recently she co-wrote the upcoming reboot of the iconic young adult series Club der roten Bänder for RTL+/Vox.
Kirsten also advises productions as script consultant (Souls / Sky Germany, Best Screenplay at Canneseries 2022; Easy Love / world premiere at Berlinale 2019) and audience designer (Pooja, Sir / world premiere at Venice Film Festival 2024). She is a regular tutor and mentor for the next generation of writers at ifs internationale filmschule köln, DFFB/Serial Eyes and Midpoint Institute.
