Nikola Kuprešanin was born in Split, Croatia in 1983. He worked for various media as a writer, including National Geographic and Le Mond Diplomatique, and won several awards for his short fiction and travelogues.
He cowrote and codirected a 4-part documentary TV series "Kurds" and a documentary movie "Hakeri Rata".
He cowrote a feature "Not So Friendly Neighborhood Affair" with director Danis Tanovic, with whom he collaborates on several other projects, including a TV series "Kotlina", currently in post-production.
He cowrote a 2 nd season of TV Series "Nestali" and worked as a storyliner on comedy TV series "Dar Mar".
Currently several projects he cowrote are in pre-production phase, including a horror feature
"Blok 62" with director Vanja Vascarac and an international documentary movie "Besa" with
director Rok Biček.
