Mille Bjørke is a Danish producer specialized in fiction features and series with a deepfelt interest in the genres of drama and thriller. Bjørke joined the series department of the Banijay Group production house Mastiff in 2020. Same year as she also participated in EAVE producers workshop.
From 2013-2019 Bjørke worked for Fridthjof Film, where her latest production includes the psychological thriller “THE EXCEPTION” (2020) based on the best seller of same name, directed by Jesper W. Nielsen (Borgen), written by Christian Torpe (Rita, The Mist) and starring Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen, Westworld) and Amanda Collin (Raised by Wolves).
Her feature film debut was the comedy “THREE HEISTS AND A HAMSTER” which was one of the most popular films in Danish cinemas in 2017, reaching more than 350.000 sold tickets. Bjørke’s experience also includes her work as part of the producer team on the Discovery Network fantasy series for young adults “HEARTLESS” (2014, season II 2015). The series was the first TV-series to be included in the Generation-Programme at the Berlin Film Festival.
In 2016 Bjørke graduated from the Danish independent film school, Super16. Earlier in 2010 she studied a term at the master level of ‘Producing for Film and Television’ at UBC in Vancouver.
