Dutch/Curaçaoan director Eché Janga graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2010. After directing several award-winning short films which screened at festivals like Oberhausen Short Film Festival and Aspen Short Fest, he made his first feature film HELIUM in 2014. HELIUM was selected for the competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. These last few years, while Eché was developing his second feature film BULADÓ, he achieved a lot of success directing multiple television series and A-brand commercials all over Europe. BULADÓ won the award for Best Film at the Netherlands Film Festival and was the Dutch submission for the Academy Awards 2020.
