Radu is a Bucharest-based producer with a background in film production, editing, and sound design from UNATC film school. A member of the ACE Producers Network and alumnus of the EAVE Producers Workshop, Ties That Bind, and Puentes, he was also selected as a Producer on the Move at Cannes 2023 and is currently the EAVE Romanian National Representative. His work has sparked collaborations across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, building creative alliances that transcend borders and cultures, while his films have earned accolades at top-tier festivals including Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Locarno, and IDFA. Beyond production, he has been actively involved in shaping the Romanian film industry — participating in policy-making groups with the Ministry of Culture, and taking a leading role in forming a network of film professionals that successfully pushed forward the revision of the National Cinematography Law. Cinema for him isn’t just about making films — it’s about shaping the landscape they’re made in.
