Born in Tehran, Khosrovani settled in Italy to pursue her artistic studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. After graduating
she returned to Iran and acquired her Master’s degree in Journalism. She now lives between Tehran and Rome. After several documentary projects directed, her last feature documentary Radiograph of a Family (2020), the Pre- and Post- revolutionary story of the daughter of a secular father and a devout Muslim mother and they coexist under one roof, has been awarded at IDFA 2020 as Best film and as Best Creative Use of Archive Award.
