We are happy to present a new formula for our intensive training TFL Extended – Story Editing, enabling even deeper networking and a more hands-on experience.
For the past 10 years, TorinoFilmLab has offered through the ScriptLab programme a hands-on training for film professionals from all over the world, who are interested in accompanying writer/directors in the development of their feature film projects. The TFL Extended – Story Editing residential workshops in Turin are another opportunity to discover the writing process and to benefit from immediate training by highly-qualified tutors.
In 2020 we will organize 3 sessions, each of them taking place in parallel with a TFL Extended – Feature Film workshop and welcoming 5 participants per session. After a first day dedicated to the fundamentals of story editing, each of the story editor trainees will join a specific group composed of 5 feature film projects and guided by a tutor acting as a mentor.
The workshops are open to script consultants, producers, commissioner editors, film festival and fund representatives, readers for production companies/film funds, etc., interested in gaining an insight into the development process of fiction feature film projects, working closely with the authors of the projects. Participants will acquire skills in the fields of treatment and script analysis, assessment of project development and script consulting.
The first session is scheduled from 16th to 21th of April 2020 in Turin. Candidates who are interested in this workshop can apply until March 6th, 2020.
